Lou's photography interests started a long time ago while he was the photographer for his high school newspaper. He continued to develop his interest in how light can be captured and images produced to capture the moment, a feeling or a thought.

Over the years his interests expanded to use images and video to capture the moments and tell stories. Happy stories, sad stories, family stories and life stories. WIth a diversified background in Technology, Aviation, Sports and History his generalist approach to life allows him to capture THE moment.

As a consultant for large and small organizations, Lou travel throughout the world. Wherever he travels you can bet he had his camera and the unquenched desire to capture the light of life.

With the debut of digital to the world of photography, Lou easily transitioned his photographic techniques to the new media. Gone was the darkroom moving aside to the make room for the computer based imaging systems.

Lou Veltri Photography became the commercial backbone for Lou and his creativity.  Incorporated in 2001 when several children modeling agencies saw his work and asked him to shoot their clients headshots. Having played with various types of portrait photography Lou Veltri Photography offerred the Documenting Life photographic services.  A marriage of consulting and photography Documenting Life is a planned photo session to capture your family in their most memorable situations recreated for the camera.

Family, Friends, Pets, Hobbies and just about any type of activity folks would be involved in became the subject of Documenting Life.
